"Dust we are and unto dust we shall return" - proclaims the liturgist of the Ash Wednesday. Thereafter Friday after Friday till Good Friday many faithful take the opportunity to embrace the Cross and live a life of penance, mortification, abnegation, fast and humility.

The Lenten season is a time for purification of mind and heart and to draw a road map to share in the sufferings of the crucifixion and thereafter partake in the joys of the resurrection in the company of the Community and the wider Society.
