'Titanic' Success Made Me Want to Stop Acting: DiCaprio

London, Mar 16 (IANS): Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed the huge success of his 1997 starrer "Titanic" made him feel devastated so much so he wanted to stop acting.

"At first I hated the way I was turned into a pretty boy, as if that was all that was expected of me. It made me almost want to stop acting for a while because the attention that was focused on me was not where I wanted to take my career," he said, reports mirror.co.uk.

"I didn't want to do romantic films or anything which just exploited my image or appearance. I also kind of had to be more careful about the friends I was hanging out with. I was living a pretty big life for a while and then that just gets tiresome," he added.

The actor lives a more quiet life now.

"You get all the partying out of your system, so I live much more quietly these days. I haven't done the nightclub scene in a long, long time. It's boring, to tell you the truth," he said.
