Panaji: Anganwadi Teachers Demand Pay Hike

Around two thousand Anganwadi teachers took out a massive rally in the Capital city demanding pay hike in their present salaries. The teachers assembled at the EDC Patto plaza and marched towards the Panaji city and gathered at the CCP garden near the Directorate of Health Services and pressed for their long pending demands.

 


The Goa Bachao Abhiyan members gheraoed the Chief Town Planner Morad Ahmed and then staged a protest dharna infront of the Chief Minister Digambar Kamat's residence at Altinho, Panaji in regard to the Goa Regional Plan 2021. The GBA is protesting against the Kamat government for giving permissions for development in the No development Zones even though the official RPG 2021 is yet to be declared officially.
