Gurugram woman jumps to death from high-rise


Gurugram, Apr 20 (IANS): A 37-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after jumping off the 13th floor of a high rise building in Gurugram's Sector 37C on Sunday night.

The deceased, Ritu Agrawal was employed with an IT company in Gurugram and resided with her husband and two children in Corona Optus residential society (Flat number 1304). She jumped from the balcony of the flat.

Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP of Gurugram Police said: "During preliminary investigation, it was found that she had a heated argument with her husband Ritesh Agrawal."

"The victim has not left any suicide note. Her daughter was at home at the time of jump and she is an eyewitness. Further investigation is on," Sangwan said.
