Panaji: New Quarterly Women’s Magazine in English Released

Panaji, Dec 15: Goa Onlooker, a new quarterly magazine in English edited and published by Nazia Anjum was released by Goa Law Commision chairman and former union law minister Ramakant D. Khalap in presence of principal U D Joshi, Zeeshan Akhtar, Faizan Sheikh and former Doordarshan director Yusuf A Sheikh among others.



A venture by women entrepreneur received encouraging response and the first issue has been attractively designed covering important events and topics relating to child welfare, health, sports, films and various issues that interest women.

Khalap lauded the efforts of Nazia Anjum and complimented her for her interest in journalistic pursuits. He said that news items of human interest and credibility in journalism go a long way in serving humankind and as such they are of utmost significance.

Janajagruti Manch president Pandharinath Damodar Lotlikar, editor of Konkonn Divo Ashok R. Chodankar and the head of Vasco unit of the Senior Citizens’ Forum Anil Chodankar were present on the occasion.
