Gillete Axes 12 Million Pounds Deal with Tiger Woods, Wife to Dump him

London, Dec 13 (IANS) Tiger Woods' philandering is proving costly for the golfer. While Gillette has axed a 12 million pounds (about $19.4 million) marketing deal with him, his wife Elin Nordegren is "filled with hatred" over his cheating ways and may never be able to forgive him, reports The Mirror.

Apart from Gillette, Pepsi bosses have also held talks about their 60 million pounds five-year contract with Woods since ditching the Gatorade Tiger Focus drink last Tuesday, and US phone giant AT&T is "evaluating" its link with the star.

Elin, 29, was "sickened" when the golfing legend admitted to bringing women to their marital homes in Florida and California, says a friend. She is planning to leave the US with or without her husband and head home to Sweden with their two children, reports mirror.co.uk.

The friend, the first of Elin's to speak on the issue, told the Sunday Mirror: "Elin is filled with hatred for Tiger. When she found out he had brought these women back to the homes they shared as a family, it made her feel sick."

Until Friday night's dramatic statement from Woods that he was quitting golf "indefinitely" in order to give time to his family, Elin told her friend she felt her husband had not shown enough remorse.

"Elin wasn't convinced Tiger was upset that he was losing her and his entire family was leaving him. So he needed to make that grand gesture to show that his loyalties lay with them," said the friend.

Woods, 33, announced Friday that he was quitting golf in a bid to save his marriage. He also admitted for the first time he had been unfaithful.

As his contrite statement was being released, the list of Woods' lovers was at 13 and rising. A Hollywood madame has claimed she helped him hire several high-class escorts.

Woods splashed 25,000 pounds ($40,600) a weekend partying with high-class hookers, Michelle Braun told E! News. She said she sometimes provided Woods with 10 to 15 girls at one time, thesun.co.uk reported.

"He had a pretty big appetite for girls. Never just one girl. He would want to set up a whole weekend of partying and have ten or 15 girls 24X7. Mostly young, college cuties. In an average weekend in Las Vegas he'd probably spend $30,000 or $40,000," she said.

Elin has spent the days since Woods' car crash - sparked by a row over his affairs - holed up in their Florida mansion with her twin sister Josefin and mother Barbro Holmberg discussing whether she has a future with Woods.

Elin also vented her hurt and anger at Tiger's philandering in a series of emotional phone calls with some of her most trusted friends.

She spoke of plans to walk out on her billionaire husband and return to Sweden with their children Sam Alexis, two, and Charlie Axel, 10 months.

Elin is seriously considering a move to a 1.4 million pounds estate near Stockholm she recently bought in her own name, and raising the children with her family.

"Josefin and Elin have been co-ordinating plans to move the kids near Stockholm. She is more than capable of raising them herself in Sweden, where they would be surrounded by family that loves them," said Elin's friend.

The friend told how Elin had fallen hook, line and sinker for Woods' wholesome public image and once saw him as a perfect husband. But her world began to fall apart on Nov 23, when it emerged Tiger had flown nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel out to his hotel while he was playing golf in Melbourne, Australia.

All hell broke loose four days later when Tiger crashed his Cadillac Escalade outside the family home in Florida after a vicious row allegedly sparked by Elin's discovery of more texts between him and Uchitel, 34.

Even as Woods tried to patch things up, cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, 24, and Vegas marketing girl Kalika Moquin were named as his second and third mistresses. And in the last week a series of waitresses, porn stars, hostesses and escort girls have been linked to the star.

It was claimed that Woods romped with at least three of the women in his family mansions in Isleworth, Florida, and Newport Beach, California, which drove Elin to the brink.

The friend told how, even before Elin knew about Tiger's wandering eye, cracks had begun to appear in the marriage when Woods appeared to choose his career over his family.

In 2007, he infamously chose to attend a charity event in 'California while his first child was being baptised in Sweden.

"Maybe trouble was surfacing back then," said the friend.
