404 cases registered for COVID-19 guidelines violation in Odisha


Bhubaneswar, Mar 27 (IANS): The Odisha Police have registered 404 cases for violation of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19 during the last 48 hours, an official said on Thursday.

Subroto Bagchi, Odisha government's chief spokesperson on COVID-19, said that out of these, 380 cases have been registered for violation of lockdown, 10 cases for violation of home quarantine and 14 cases on other issues related to COVID-19.

As on 12 noon on Thursday, 164 samples were sent for COVID-19 examination and reports of all the samples have been obtained. No new positive case has been found, keeping the figure in the state to two, said Bagchi.

He added that the health of the two identified patients is asymptomatic and stable. They are taking normal diet supplied by the concerned hospitals, Bagchi said.
