Odisha police register 149 cases for violation of COVID-19 norms


Bhubaneswar, Mar 25 (IANS): As many as 149 cases have been lodged for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19 in Odisha, police said on Wednesday.

The cases have been lodged between March 24 and March 25, said an Odisha Police statement.

Out of these, 137 cases are registered for lockdown violations.

Another five cases have been lodged for violations of home quarantine norms and seven cases registered on other issues related to COVID-19, the statement said.
