Three booked in Himachal for not adhering to health protocol


Shimla, Mar 22 (IANS): A couple who recently returned from abroad and woman whose preliminary tests showed positive for coronavirus were booked by the state police for concealing their travel histories and not adhering to health protocol, police said on Saturday.

The couple -- Tanveer and Neha -- both residents of Arki tehsil in Solan district, had returned from Indonesia.

It was advised to follow home quarantine protocol for 28 days.

A woman from Kangra district, who tested positive for the infection on Friday, was booked for not cooperating with local authorities.

Several people, who were in touch with her, have been quarantined.
