Youth Cong to hold silent march against 'suppression of voice'

New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS): The Youth Congress on Monday will organise a silent protest march by walking from the Indian Youth Congress office here at Raisina Road to India Gate against the Central government's "suppression of citizens' voices".

"Youth Congress is organising a silent protest against Modi Government's suppression of Indian citizens. Voice of masses is being suppressed in the most unconstitutional ways. Police forces and other governmental institutions are being used against those raising their voices against Modi government's dictatorship," Youth Congress spokesperson Amish Ranjan Pandey said.

"The is a symbolic protest with protesters wearing masks making a strong satirical remark against dictatorship of Modi government which is shutting down voices and fingers rising to safeguard the Constitution of India," the Youth Congress said in a statement.
