Yogi to give Rs 6000 per year to triple talaq victims

Lucknow, Dec 29 (IANS): The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh will give an annual pension of Rs 6,000 per year to women who have been given triple talaq by their husbands.

Shia religious leader Maulana Saif Abbas said that while he welcomed the decision, the government should look more into the education of children and their problem of housing which will be better than giving Rs 500 as pension to triple talaq victims.

Sunni cleric Maulana Sufiana said, "Politics has been done on this issue. It is to be seen what justice the government wants to do by giving Rs 500 per month as pension."

Shahista Ambar, president of the All India Muslim Women's Personal Law Board, said, "The government's initiative is good but the amount is very low. It will be difficult to meet the basic needs with Rs 6,000 annual pension."

Triple talaq women are minuscule compared to abandoned women, who are 2.5 million in India. The percentage of abandoned women is least among the Muslims (0.67%) compared to Hindus (0.69%), Christians (1.19%) and other religious Minorities (0.68%). Who is bothered about these women ?

First of all, the rate of triple talak in muslim comminuty is less than 0.04% and after criminilisation of triple talak i have heard one or two cases out of 20 crores mulsims in India, as BJP is searching for such cases in order to showcase it.

Yogi is appeasing Muslims by giving Rs 500 per month, as BJP is against Muslims appeasement.

In other side his cops are threatening muslims and butchering them like animals based on his revenge statement.

Even the beggars in Mlore, get annoyed if someone offers coins because they know the value of money.
In opinion people should refuse his fake humanity being offered to the triple talaq victims.
