Ten takeaways from Narendra Modi's speech

New Delhi, Dec 22 (IANS): Amid the countrywide protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a huge gathering at the Ramlila Maidan here, flaying the opposition parties for their alleged hypocrisy in opposing the new citizenship law.

Here are 10 key points from the Prime Minister's speech:

* Opposition and Urban Naxals are behind the violence in the name of anti-CAA protests.

* A rumour is being spread that all Mulsims will be sent to detention centres. It's a lie, it's a lie, it's a lie.

* Unity in diversity is India's speciality

* CAA doesn't apply to any Indians, be it Hindus or Muslims.

* Burn effigies of Modi as much as you wish, but don't burn public properties or vehicles of the poor people.

* I request you not to harm the cops. When they help you, they don't do it depending on your religion.

* Today Mamata (Banerjee) Didi has reached the UN directly from Kolkata. But until a few years ago, this same Mamta Didi was pleading to stop infiltrators from Bangladesh.

* The Congress is upset and desperate at the fact that the governmnet under me is being respected by all prominent Muslim majority nations. Hence, they are dividing the country.

* Boundaries of more than 1,700 colonies in Delhi have been identified in a very short time. Maps of more than 1,200 colonies have also been placed on the portal. Keeping problems unsolved is not our way.

* When we legalised hundreds of colonies in Delhi, did we ask what is your religion or which party do you support?

Wareh wah "rumours and lies". Who is telling the truth? Rule are not framed yet to NRC. What a a explanation. Is anybody telling there is not going to be an NRC? Certainly does not come out from the mouth of PM.
Indeed Assam NRC was initiated with supreme courts order but is a utter failure. 19million people not on the NRC. 5 million Hindus and 14 million Muslims. To save this embarrassment and to protect the 5 million hindus and not Muslims CAA was framed and pushed through the parliament. And during the debate Amit Shah clearly stated in parliament nationwide NRC is coming.. Further more in Karnataka Yeddi and Bommai is openly saying and getting ready for NRC in karanatka at least begging 2020. This has been reported in Deccan herald on 21/22 December 2019.

    Who is telling the truth:

    Heres what is needed:

PM must categorically say there is not going to be NRC either nationally or any statewide. Hemust say this on national television and state in PMs website.
Amit Shah must satte in written of Home Ministry website there is not going to be NRC at all now or in the future and must declare in Parliament to that effect.
Yeddi and Bommai also say this in Karnataka.

Until and unless these assurances are received mere statements have no face value.
Protests are spreading nationally and jus to suppress these these announcements are being made now.
These are not truths. And truth must be told in order to stop the protests- CAA and NRC

There is absolutely no use to listen to any promises from Mr. Srimanji.

There is never any weightage to his speeches as his speeches are mix of lies and contrading to his earlier statements and lacks any clear vision of anything.

When it is an election campaign: He delivers speech that "One can identify who is violent by their clothes". And immediately next day he says that " India is recgnized by its Unity in Diversity"; when he himself delivered the speech which seems to be derogatory about a particular religion.

For Mr. PM, it seems as if giving speech is an art , which he enjoys and is never seems to accountable for anything what he spoke.
