KL Rahul's gesture triggers meme fest on Twitter

Visakhapatnam, Dec 19 (IANS): KL Rahul's celebration of his 3rd ODI century in India's one-day international against West Indies, by closing his eyes and putting his fingers beside his ears triggered a meme fest on Twitter.

His fans had funny takes on the intriguing gesture of Rahul, who hit 102 runs off 104 balls.

One fan posted his picture and wrote: "Galti ho gayi Bhagwaan. Fir kabhi Koffee With Karan mein nahi jaaunga (I have committed a mistake, oh God. I will never again go to Koffee with Karan."

Rahul and fellow cricketer Hardik Pandya were suspended in January 2019 pending an inquiry into their alleged misogynistic comments on the Koffee With Karan show, wherein the two talked about their relationships, crushes, favourite movies, actors and actresses.

Another cricket fan posted two pictures of Rahul with fingers behind his ears and another in a salutary pose. He wrote: "When mom scolds. "When dad scolds."

One Twitter user posted the picture of Rahul and captioned it: "When relatives start giving gyan."

One fan wrote: "Forgive me God. Will drink only tea now onwards."

One user commented: (Rahul when) Karan Johar calls to give an invitation for Koffee With Karan episode...."

Another fan captioned the picture: "Toppers during exams#KLRahul #INDvsWI."
