Bangladeshi Muslims behind Seelampur violence: Report

By Sanjeev Kumar Singh Chauhan

New Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS): As Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik briefed Union Home Secretary A.K. Bhalla on violence, the Delhi Police's Special Branch in a secret report revealed that several men in mobs that indulged in stone pelting and arsoning were illegal Bangladeshi Muslim migrants.

An organised group of Bangladeshi (infiltrators), worst hit by the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA), were behind the violence in the Seelampur area on Tuesday, it said. Several such Bangladeshis with criminal past were instrumental in initiating violence, it said and added, some armed infiltrators wearing masks set afire the state properties.

The protest was peaceful for the past two days, however, around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, a group of 10-15 people resorted to violence and attacked a school bus, it said.

As per the report, the violence may spread to neighbouring areas with large presence of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants.

Besides Seelampur and Jaffrabad, they reside in shanties and slums in Sarita Vihar, Shaheen Bagh, Zakir Nagar, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri, Shastri Park, Gazipur Mandi area, and several pockets of Khoda, adjoining Delhi and Ghaziabad. The report advocates strict patrolling and security arrangements in these localities where violent protests could emerge.

According to sources, the Bangladeshi migrants staying in Delhi for years are the worst hit by the CAA. They would have to return to their country of origin or face detention. Thus, they incited and indulged in violence, a DCP rank officer told IANS.

Delhi Police sources said, a list of illegal Bangladeshi migrants with criminal cases had been circulated to police stations for tracing and arresting them.

The Delhi Police has a separate Bangladeshi cell in each 15 districts, which have prepared exhaustive list of such migrants with involvement in crimes, like thefts, pick-pocketing and snatching.

Most of the people who are against CAA are illegal emigrants and their supporters, majority of the people of India are for this act as it is not related to Indian citizens. It is legalising the status of people who are staying in camps inside our borders prior to 2014.

I agree, illegal residents of other countries should be discouraged.

Please explain, why it applies only to Muslims, not Hindu/Sikh/Buddhist/Christians ? What I say is, push them out irrespective of their religious belonging. We don't want anybody. Let their nation look after them. Does anybody welcome us Indians across the borders of our country ?

Aren't those who are welcoming non-Muslims from other countries, anti-nationals ? Why this fake love ? All possibility is that one day you will push out non-Hindu INDIANS !

A bangladeshi Muslim going back to Bangaldesh is not the same as Bangladeshi Hindu going back to Bangladesh. This difference is real. We dont want discrimination but our neighbouring countries should be encouraged to behave.

I have lived in Dubai and have seen Bangladeshis, especially muslims are the worst creatures on this earth.

They act like wolves when they are in a gang. The military must systematically eliminate these people from our country. They are the most backward in thinking and do not hesitate to commit any crime for the sake of money, liquor or women.

Even the UAE government has stopped issuing visas to these dirty people nearly five years ago as they committed a huge robbery at the palace of the King of Abudhabi.

What work do these people have in India that they come illegally and stay on forever. They should go back to their countries of origin. As it is India is overflowing with people. Just come to Bandra Reclamation on west side are full of them and very dirty, building slums up to 5 stories of tin.

    Dear AD,

If you have worked and lived in Dubai, you will definitely agree with my statement.

I have worked with almost all nationalities including Pakistanis, Nepalis, Srilankans, philipinas, african and europeans. But believe me 9 out of 10 Bangaladeshi Muslims are the worst. I stand by my statement.

Yes. there are bad people in every society but the percentage is quite high among Bangladeshi muslims.

You might not be aware that they bring their own family members (females) and push them into prostitution in Dubai. Such ethic less people are these third rated. Do not support them if you do not know.

I have high regard for Pakistani Muslims who live in Dubai. they are really helpful, especially to Indians. Only Pathans are exception because they are conservative and hardcore fundamental islamists. These are my life time experiences I am sharing and not some article that I have read.
