Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS): As Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Gully Boy -- India's official entry for the Oscars -- was eliminated from the Oscars race, Twitter was abuzz with comments from movie buffs.

One fan wrote: "As expected... nepotism gang down again & again... this year's best Indian film was @super30.... this film & @iHrithik sir deserved each & every award...."

Another user commented: "I think Andha Dhun was a better choice than Super 30. But Gully Boy was the best choice among the three."

One fan played on a dialogue from Gully Boy and posted a movie clip featuring Ranveer: "Apna time aaya... aur chala gaya... (my time came, and was gone) LOL."

A user commented: "As if it was worth winning an Oscar.""Great news" and "Phew... thank God" were also posted by users.
