Chidambaram back as legal eagle


New Delhi, Dec 11 (IANS): Former Union Minister P. Chidambaram, who walked out of Tihar Jail last week, resumed his legal practice on Wednesday, as he appeared in the Supreme Court in a domestic violence case.

The former Finance Minister managed bail on December 4, and walked free in the INX Media case after spending 106 days in incarceration. Chidambaram is representing a party in a matrimonial case arising from Mumbai.

He appeared in the Chief Justice's court in a case against senior advocates and party colleagues and fellow RajyaSabha MPs, Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
