Trivandrum Press Club secy arrested for 'moral policing'


Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 5 (IANS): The Kerala police on Thursday arrested the Trivandrum Press Club secretary M. Radhakrishnan after his woman colleague complained of moral policing by him.

According to the complainant, on Saturday night Radhakrishnan arrived at the house of his woman colleague, allegedly after he was told that another male friend had arrived at her house and was stopped by locals.

The complainant said Radhakrishnan misbehaved with her and locked her as well as her two children in a room.

The police have registered charges under non-bailable sections.

Since the incident took place, women journalists in the state capital have been demanding his arrest.
