Removal of SPG cover part of political agenda: Vadra

Jaipur, Dec 3 (IANS): Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra on Tuesday said the removal of SPG security cover from Gandhi family is part of political agenda and a major blunder of the Central government. "The SPG security cover should not have been removed from the Gandhi family," he said.

Vadra was on his way to Ajmer via Jaipur to offer his prayers at Ajmer dargah.

Speaking to media at Jaipur airport, he said, "This is vendetta politics. The government is making wrong use of its agencies."

Speaking about the investigation into the land scam involving him, he said, "I will be present for investigation before any agency from wheresoever I have been summoned."

The Centre has rejigged Gandhi family security cover. A week back, a car with a few youths got into Priyanka Gandhi's house to take a selfie with her which is being considered as a major security lapse. Home Minister Amit Shah has promised an inquiry into the incident.

SPG must be removed from all politicians present and the past. Wasting money on protection on these politicians who are involved in making money from poor people has to spend money from their own pocket and tax payers money has to be used for the benefit of Tax payers only...!!!!??????? If India is poor and social security is poor because of such stupid actions from our politicians.
