New Delhi, Dec 2: In an interesting turn of events, a Congress leader became the centre of memes and jokes after he ended up mixing the names of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra with Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra. The goof-up that occurred at the rally resulted in a major embarrassment to Congress party as the video went viral on social media. Following the incident, Priyanka Chopra trended on Twitter as soon as the video was shared online.

The video shows the Congress leader, Surender Kumar, shouting and gesturing to the crowd to repeat after him: "Sonia Gandhi zindabad, Congress party zindabad, Rahul Gandhi zindabad, Priyanka Chopra zindabad."

Reacting to the error, Congress's Delhi unit chief, Subhash Chopra, who was standing right next to Kumar can be seen taken aback by the statement.

Twitteratis took the opportunity to troll the Congress party, one of the users commented, "Priyanka Chopra has achieved a lot more."

"@INCIndia never fails to goof up and entertain us all," stated another user.
