UP BJP issues show cause notice to Ghaziabad MLA


Lucknow, Dec 1 (IANS): BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gujjar has been served a show cause notice by Uttar Pradesh BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh for allegedly misbehaving with a food security officer.

The MLA who represents the Loni seat in Ghaziabad has been given seven days' time to reply to the notice.

Gujjar had recently got into a fight with a food security officer and an FIR was filed against him. He had reportedly slapped the officer.

He had also been making wild allegations against the police and government employees, alleging that there was a conspiracy against him within the party.

Gujjar also made headlines for demanding that water be sprinkled in his constituency to check pollution and then sought a ban on the reality show Bigg Boss.
