Three injured in stabbing incident in The Hague


The Hague, Nov 30 (IANS): Three people have been wounded in a stabbing incident at a shopping street in The Hague, police said.

The incident occurred on Friday evening at Grote Marktstraat, a busy shopping area in the city.

"Three people were injured in the stabbing incident at the Grote Marktstraat," the city police tweeted following the incident.

A manhunt is underway.

Police said the suspect, aged 40-45 years, is on the run.

The street was crowded due to "Black Friday", a day of shopping discounts.

Police spokesperson Marije Kuiper said that it was unclear if it was a terror incident.
