Mangaluru: Avani S Kumar of Srinivas Institute secures first place in National Muay Thai competition

Mangaluru, Nov 27: Avani S Kumar of second-year MBBS at Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre participated in the National Muay Thai competition held at Karavali Ground, Mangaluru from November 20 to November 23, 2019. Avani has successfully secured the first place in the 45-48 kg category in the age group of 17-23 years.

Avani's achievements bagged her the award for best Amateur Female Fighter in the competition. She has been training under Nithesh at Monkey Mayhem Fight Club in Mangaluru.

She is the daughter of Suresh Kumar Jogi and Dr Sundari Suresh Kumar.
