Three held with explosives in Delhi


New Delhi, Nov 25 (IANS): A major terrorist strike has been averted in Delhi after three people were arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.

Improvised explosive devices (IED) have also been recovered from them, the police said.

The apprehended suspects have been identified as Muqaddis Ali and Ranjit Ali and have been arrested from Assam.

Police have also claimed that the suspected terrorists were also planning to carry out terror attacks in Assam and Delhi.

DCP Pramod Kumar Singh of the Delhi Police Special Cell will hold a press conference to give more details.
