New Delhi, Nov 25: In the 59th edition of the monthly radio address 'Mann Ki Baat,' held on Sunday, PM Modi stated that he never desired to be a politician nor dreamt about the opportunity to be one.
In his address, he also spoke with various members of the National Cadet Corps on the occasion of NCC day which is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of November.
PM Modi conducted an interactive session with the NCC cadets where one of the cadets, Hari G V asked, "Had you not been a politician, what would you have been?"

In response to Hari, the Prime Minister said, "Every child goes through multiple phases in life. Sometimes one wants to become this and that, but, indeed, I never had the desire to enter the field of politics nor did I ever think about this."
Further, he asserted that since he is assigned with one of the most important responsibilities, he would strive to do what is best for the country.
Earlier in his talk, PM Modi recalled his own life experience as an NCC cadet and claimed that he would always remain a cadet.
