Tina Turner now prefers housework to partying

Los Angeles, Nov 24 (IANS): Singing legend Tina Turner, who will turn 80 soon, loves to take it easy in her life now.

Tina, who has performed with the likes of David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Elton John, is enjoying her life after retiring from the music scene, reports mirror.co.uk.

She said: "I got tired of partying. It is continuous. I love retirement. I love the house cleaning as when you don't do it you get to crave it."

"I still sleep as I slept when I was on tours. I go to bed about 12.30 a.m. or 1 a.m. and get up at 10.30 a.m. or 11 a.m. I have stayed in bed for a whole day," the singer remarked.
