New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS): A three-day conference on biotechnology, 'Global Bio-India Summit 2019', is starting from Thursday in the national capital, which will provide an opportunity to brainstorm on the possibilities and challenges of bio-manufacturing, clinical trials and drug discovery.
The conference will have experts, researchers, innovators from abroad as well. Startup and small companies working in these fields will also be taking part in the conference.
Union Ministers Harsh Vardhan and Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the 'Global Bio-India Summit 2019' on Thursday.
The conference is being organised by the Department of Biotechnology of the Union Ministry of Science and Technology and its Biotechnology Industry Research Support Council in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
About 3,000 participants from 30 countries are participating in the conference.
