Chidambaram urges Congress to lead attack on Modi govt

New Delhi, Nov 18 (IANS): As the winter session of Parliament begins, senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram on Monday urged his party colleagues to 'expose' the 'utter mismanagement' of the economy by the Narendra Modi government.

"When Parliament opens today, @INCIndia must lead the Opposition to expose the utter mismanagement of the economy," the former Finance Minister said.

"Which aspect of the economy is doing well? Not one," he added in a tweet.

Chidambaram would miss the 250th session of the Parliament as he is currently in judicial custody for his alleged role in the high-profile INX Media case.

Chidambaram has been critical of Modi government's economic policies and has been flagging issues on regular intervals.

Former Prime Minister and noted economist Manmohan Singh would, however, be in the Rajya Sabha to lead the attack on the government on behalf of the main opposition Congress Party.

Lakhs of people lost their jobs. Modi Govt., is not listening. Corrupt who join BJP are given clean chit the day they join, Modi Govt., does not care.

Big companies after companies employing thousands, filing for bankruptcy, Modi Govt., not bothered.

Petrol and cost of life is getting costlier, day by day, Modi Govt. has nothing to say. INR is loosing its value even against Bangladeshi Taka, Modi Govt., says its all okey.

Black money has become soo black, that it almost vanished and none could find, yet there is no whisper from Modi Govt. Voice against the incompetent governance of Modi Govt is silenced fiercely through ED,IT, CBI and police, there will be no one to crib.

When people are still voting for BJP, why the Modi Govt., either has to bother or be concerned about?

When people themselves got no voice, opposition parties, can not voice it for people. They are people too.

What looted, looted again and again same utterances. Whatever may congress looted, its not like BJP who did organized loot and plunder. There was corruption during Congress rule but it was not affecting common man as now. All data showing India going behind 30-40years. Wake up, before its too late
