Muzaffarnagar, Nov 13 (IANS): A five-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a man in Uttar Pradesh's Miranpur area here, police said on Wednesday. The victim has been hospitalised with serious injuries.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim's parents, the accused took the minor to a secluded place on the pretext of offering him sweets and sexually assaulted him.
The incident took place on Tuesday and the boy is undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
A case was registered and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, police added.
