BJP legislator's video goes viral, seeks probe

Ranchi, Nov 10 (IANS): A video of ruling BJP legislator Biranchi Narayan has gone viral, putting the party in an embarrassing situation.

Narayan has termed the video, which allegedly shows private moments of the legislator, as 'fake' and demanded a probe into the matter.

Narayan's supporters met officers of Bokaro Police on Sunday and filed an FIR at the City police station demanding probe into the entire issue.

"The video has been made viral deliberately by someone ahead of the Assembly polls in Jharkhand. The aim is to defame the legislator and the party. The police should probe the matter," said Sanjay Tyagi, Narayan's representative.

Narayan became a legislator for the first time in 2014 after winning in the Assembly polls by securing the highest number of votes in the state.
