Art exhibition to pay tribute to Guru Nanak

New Delhi, Nov 10 (IANSlife): To commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru and 15th century saint-philosopher Guru Nanak, his artistic renditions will form part of a unique group exhibition here.

Titled ‘My Nanak', the exhibition will run from November 24 to December 23 at Saket's Gallerie Nvya here. It will display recent works based on Guru Nanak, his life, his times and his teachings.

Portraying their own interpretation and vision of the Guru in a range of hues and forms, the artists have worked in various mediums: canvas, paper, bronze, fibre and new media.

The participating artists are Aditya Basak, Arpana Caur, Seema Bhalla, Gurpreet Singh, Harmeet Rattan, Jaspreet Singh, Jayasri Burman, K.S Radhakrishnan, Manjot Kaur, Paresh Maity, Raghu Vyas, Satish Gupta, Seema Kohli, Shipra Bhattacharya, Shuvaprasanna, Sidharth, Singh twins, and Suman Gupta.
