Karachi, Nov 10: A new case of Pak propaganda against India has come to light, a mannequin of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has been displayed at a war museum of Pakistan Air Force in Karachi.

The photo was uploaded on Twitter by Pak journalist and political commentator Anwar Lodhi. Earlier in the February, the IAF pilot was captured in Pakistan following a dogfight between the two air forces in which his MiG-21 was shot down in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. Succumbing to international pressure Wing Commander Abhinandan was released by Pak on March 1 at the Attari-Wagah border. Although, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan claimed his decision to release Abhinandan was a 'gesture of peace.'

Lodhi shared the picture and wrote: "PAF has put mannequin of Abhi Nandhan on display in the museum. This would be a more interesting display if they can arrange a Cup of FANTASTIC tea in his hand." He was referring to the video that was released by Pakistan military where Abhinandan can be seen sipping tea and at one point responding to a question by his captors, "The tea is fantastic, thank you."

The image, therefore, shows a cup placed next to the mannequin. The entire display is encased in a glass showcase.

This is not the first time Pak pulled a stunt like this, days before the World Cup match between India and Pakistan, an advertisement on a Pakistan channel featured a discourteous spoof of Abhinandan. The ad was heavily criticized as it was based on the video of the IAF pilot during his captivity.
