Hyderabad, Oct 30: Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday claimed that Congress has become obligated to participate in Yatras in the name of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
Reddy stated that when a Yatra is conducted for a personality like Mahatma Gandhi, the Congress party gets disheartened.
Reddy believes the Congress is not used to conducting Yatras other than those concerning Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
"We, however, work for the country and are connected to ideologies of Mahatma Gandi," Reddy said at a Gandhi Sankalp Yatra in Secunderabad.
The 'Gandhi Sankalp Yatra' was conducted to spread the philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi like non-violence and cleanliness and spread awareness about plastic.
