Malda, Oct 29: A BJP MP's son from West Bengal received stones in a box instead of the phone he ordered online asserted the police on Tuesday.
The MP's son filed an official complaint on Monday in the English Bazaar police station. As per Animes Murmu, son of Malda Uttar MP, Khage Murmu, he placed an order for Samsung M30 on October 23.
"The price of the cellphone is Rs 11,999. However, my wife received a box of Redmi 5A handset with two stones inside it," Murmu said.
A senior officer claimed that a probe has already begun in the matter.
