Udupi, Aug 10: The bail application moved by Niranjan Bhat, one of the main accused in the case pertaining to the murder of NRI entrepreneur, Bhaskar Shetty, had filed bail application. However, judge of the chief district and sessions court here, C M Joshi, dismissed the application.
Bhat had sought bail for a limited period to call on his father Srinivas Bhat, who has reportedly been hospitalized. On Friday, the judge dismissed the bail application. But he allowed Bhat to visit his father with police escort.
