Chicago, June 17:  Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association (MKCA), USA is inviting all the Mangaloreans for a rare opportunity to greet and meet the Bishop of Mangalore, Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D'Souza in Chicagoland.

On this great occasion, Holy mass and felicitation dinner will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 6:30pm at Courtland Square Club House, 8909 David Place, Des Plaines, Illinois.

Admission charges:

Adults - $20, Children 12 yrs and below - $15 and Kids below four years are free.

    I am extremely happy to note that MKCA has organized a reception for Most Rev. Bishop A.P. D''Souza. Obviously this is a Mangalorean hospitality. I congratulate the persons who have initiated this meeting. I am sure that His Lordship would be happy to meet old friends like Lion Austin Prabhu and his clan. I understand that a similar function has also been arranged in Long Island on 11TH. July 2009 under the leadership of Father Joe Lobo which I hope to attend. This would indeed give an opportunity to many to meet Our Bishop. Welcome to you Bishop A.P. to U.S. and wish you a very happy stay. Joe Gonsalves

ALSO AS A SPECIAL PETITION KINDLY PRAY FOR ALL THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY WORLDWIDE AND ALSO IN SAUDI-ARABIA THAT THERE MAY BE STRONG UNITY AMONG CHRISTIANS IN THE SAME MANNER LIKE OTHER RELIGIONS AND ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS WILL WALK HAND IN HAND AT TIMES OF TROUBLES.

    Good news for the Mangaloreans of Chicago with the distinguished visit of Most.Rev. Bishops Aloysius during July, 2009. If we have time at our disposal, we shall do our best to visit Chicago at least for few hours.
