I have known this soft spoken person for several years. I saw him for the first time when he shared the dais with prominent people in Mangalore when he made an astounding speech against a well known politician as he did not agree with his views. He migrated to U.S. a couple of decades ago and ever since it has been a success story. He was awarded the doctorate in appreciation of his services and now he is knighted - VERY RARE ACHIEVEMENTS.

Austin - you are gifted with simplicities of heart and mind. Please do preserve these wonderful qualities. Kudos to you... You have made Mangalore PROUD... You have made India PROUD. what next? Joe Gonsalves

We are happy, delighted with pleasure as you achive this award. I was a kid in 70s and reading with lots of interest the fortnightly Konkani magazines published under your editorials. We missed your presence in Mangalore for Konkani media since then, hope you are with us. Thank you Austine Sir for you work for the society. Congratulations!
