Bantwal, Mar 13: Multilingual actress and BJP leader Malavika Avinash visited Polali Rajarajeshwari temple on Tuesday March 12. Brahmakalasha committee president, MLA U Rajesh Naik welcomed her.
Temple priest prayed, gave prasada and memento and informed the history of the temple to her. She saw the wooden carvings, glory and the barn and expressed her appreciation.
Speaking to reporters later she said that she has come to pray to Polali mother. Responding to a question by a reporter, she said, “I am already identified in a party and will support only my party.”
“Everything is left to party seniors. Though I am an artiste, I am a sincere worker of the party,” she added.
MLA Rajesh Naik, Sulochana G K Bhat, Devadas Shetty, Udayakumar Rao and others were present.
