Rushdie is a Cool Dude, says New Girlfriend

London, Feb 16: Controversial Indian-born author Salman Rushdie who is equally well known for his romantic conquests has been termed a "cool dude" by his latest love interest, 32-year-old stage actress Pia Glenn.

Reuters "Salman accepts me as I am, we tease each other so much we should go on the road as a comedy act. He calls me 'Honey' and some of the time 'Hon'. He's a very cool dude,"
Glenn was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.

The 6ft tall Glenn brushes off the 29-year age gap and the completely mismatched heights as insignificant, describing their relationship as a "meeting of minds".

"I'm a very frank, realistic person about our attraction. But the attraction started as a meeting of minds," said Glenn.

Replying to nay-sayers who have criticised her for hooking up with the multi millionaire Booker prize winning author to further her own career, Glenn said that true love is what matters the most to her.

"I know there is the accepted wisdom that actresses and older famous men date because it is good for both of them. But the first thing I look at in a man is his heart. I'm not someone who cares whether a man is powerful or has a big house or a big job," said the actress.

"I've waited a long time to feel this way about a man. I'm very, very lucky. I'm very, very happy. I've never been this happy," she added.
