Mangalore: Region Chairman visits Lions club Kinnigoli

Kinnigoly, Jan 26:
The official visit of the region chairman (region IV) Ln Sarvotham Anchan to Lions Club Kinnigoli, was held today. Ln Melwyn Patrao, vice district governor and Ln Mohandas Shetty, zone chariman of Lions Club were the chief guests. On this occasion, three prominent persons who have been serving the society,  Umesh Rao Yekkar (education and  litarature) Sr Anita Frank, (social work and herbal medicine)  and Giriappa Poojary (horticulture) were honoured by the Lions club.



In his presidential speech, Ln Sarvotham Anchan congratulated the members of Lions Club, Kinnigoli for their dedicated work and service to the society and the needy people. He called upon the members to serve the society to their best ability, serve the people by helping them to get what they aim at and work as per the ideals of the Lions Club. On this occasion, medical help was distributed to the needy patients.

Ln Ignatious Mendonca, president of Lions club Kinnigoli welcomed the gathering. Ln Vijaykumar shetty proposed vote of thanks. Ln Lawrance Fernandes compered the programme. The programe ended with a family meal.
