Bangalore, Jan 26: The February month's edition of Vaarekore, a monthly magazine entirely dedicated to humour and cartoons, being brought out by Prakash Shetty, was released here on Friday January 23.

Shetty, 48, who is the man behind this unique magazine, started cartooning when he was 15.  He worked with various dailies and magazines. He also has been into creating spot caricaturing at parties, drawing of huge cartoon murals, t-shirt cartoons, coloured family caricatures etc., His 'Prakash Shetty Punch' was aired on ETV.

The dummy pages of the magazine were brought out to the readers through www.vaarekore.blogspot.com. Shetty will be assisted in his endeavour by his brother Harini, a noted cartoonist, Jeevan, James Caz, K R Swamy, Sridhar, Satish Sringeri, Gopal etc., 'Cartoon Master' which is being provided with the publication free of cost, will be available through the blog. He has requested the readers to support the magazine by subscribing to it.
