Udupi: Gokuldas Pai New President of Journalists’ Association

Udupi, Jan 25: Gokuldas Pai has been unanimously elected the new president of Udupi District Journalists’ Association at the annual general meeting held at Ramakrishna Hotel here on Saturday January 24.
Meanwhile, Kiran Manjanabailu has been elected the secretary. Other office-bearers for the 2009 are—Dr Sudakar Nambiar Kundapura, vice-president, Devaraya Prabhu Karkala and Ganesh Amin Udupi, joint secretaries, Rajesh Shetty, treasurer, and Astro Mohan, Vinod Kumar Pudu, Sukumar Muniyalu, Rakesh Kunjoor, Harsharaj Kodikanyana, Subramania Padukone, Pundalika Marathe, and Jayaprakash Kini are the executive committee members.
Incumbent president Alevoor Dinesh Kini presided over the function.
