Puttur, Jan 25: A programme to form a human chain is proposed to be held at Darbe Circle in the town on Monday January 26 at 3 pm.
The programme is being organized by Samasta Kerala Sunni Students Federation to create awareness among the people against the evil act of terrorism.
The human chain will be formed with the aim of showing solidarity with the nation's security and peace. The chain will be formed at the end of a procession being taken out on the occasion. The programme will conclude with the oath-taking against terrorism, said Muhammad Shafi Darimi, joint secretary of the Federation, speaking at a press conference on Thursday January 23.
Darimi called upon the nationalist citizens to participate in the programme in large numbers to register their protest against terrorism.
