Udupi, Jan 25: The book release function of 'MTR Yajnappa', authored by Dr P N Mayya, will be held in his house 'Swarna Mandir' in Handattu - Kota in the district on Tuesday January 27 at 4.30 pm.
Vishweshwara Bhat, journalist, will release the work.
Yashwant Saradeshpande, theatre director and Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC, will participate as chief guests.
On this occasion, a felicitation programme will be held for those who have been involved with the MTR since the last many years. This programme will be held under the presidentship of Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, district president, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Dakshina Kannada.
Later, a Yakshagana episode, 'Veera Vrashasena', will be performed at the said venue.
