Karkala: BJP is Destroying Democracy- Vinay Kumar Sorake

Karkala, Jan 25: A programme of  Congress family get-together  was held at Sheela Subodh Ballal Bunt's Hall here recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Kumar Sorake, former member of parliament said that the BJP government has thrown to winds sound administrative norms and is aiming at destroying democratic system of governance.

The people of the state have lost their peace of mind. The BJP leaders are misusing the power vested with them now, he charged.

Presiding over the function, M Veerappa Moily, chairman, Administrative Reforms Commission, said that the congress activists must actively get involved with solving various problems being faced by the common people' "Every Congress worker should aim at winning the love and trust of the people," he exhorted.

The BJP leaders are wasting the government money by donating funds for the temples and Maths, he charged.

Local MLA H Gopal Bhandary,  H Prasanna Ballal, Block Congress president, Raju Poojary, president, Udupi zilla panchayat and leaders like Kamalakar Halambi, Shekar Madiwal, H Radhakrishna Nayak, Nirmala S Hegde, Manjunat Poojary and Shakuntala Sherigar, taluk panchayat member, were present on the occasion.

    Yes it is true that BJP is wasting money unnecessarily.It is the money of the people and not from BJP govt's. Poor people of karnataka are starving and the govt dosent give them any money or food.just to increase their vote bank of BJP and to be in the good books they are donating money to the temples.people should wake up and should teach BJP a good lesson this time
