Mangalore: Corporation Bank Bags 'Banking Technology Award'

Mangalore, Jan, 22: Corporation Bank was conferred with the prestigious 'Banking Technology Award-2008' runner-up award at Mumbai on Tuesday January 20.

J M Garg, chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank, received the award for the best Online and Multi Channel Banking Team, instituted by the Indian Banks Association and Trade Fair and Conference International.

The award is being given, based on the achievement and use of modern technology in the business by banks functioning in the country. Corporation Bank has succeeded in annexing this award in spite of tough competition posed by foreign banks functioning in the country.

Apart from the above, the bank has also received the ‘Scope Meritorius Award’ meant for the best management of government owned enterprises.

    Corporation Bank deserves award not only for achievement and use of modern technology in other fields also. Corpbank is always first whether in starting some new deposit schemes or some loans. I love you Corporation Bank.
