M'lore: Wrestling Contests ‘Karaval Kesari’, ‘Karavali Kumar’ on Jan 21

Mangalore, Jan 19: The District Wrestling Association will organize district-level wrestling competitions ‘Karavali Kesari’ and ‘Karavali Kumar’ at Karavali Utsav Ground here on Wednesday January 21.
 
Briefing media persons at the Press Club on Monday January 19, Prakash Kadri said that the competition will be held in five categories - 35kg, 45kg, 55kg, 65kg, and 75kg. Entry will be given to only two wrestlers from each ‘Vyayama Shale’.
 
B Nagaraj Shetty, president, Coastal Development Authority, will inaugurate the competition. Monappa Bhandary, president, district BJP, Malar Jayaram Rai, Basti Vaman Shenoy, and K Pradip Kumar, will be the chief guests. Dr Devaraj, prinicipal, SDM College of Business Management, will preside over the function.
