Puttur, Jan 16: H D Kumaraswamy, ex-chief minister and state president of the JD(S), will visit each and every taluk in the state and camp there, for rejuvenating the JD(S) from the grassroot level, informed  Muhammad Kunhi Vittal, state secretary, JDS, speaking at a  press conference held here on Wednesday January 14.

Since the Congress is like a  sinking ship, there will be direct competition between the  BJP and the JD(S) in the coming election, he predicted.

State law minister Suresh Kumar had recently commented that other parties would have to lock their offices up, because of the increasing popularity of the BJP. JD(S) taluk unit president K S Nidvannaya took umbrage to this statement, saying that this does not befit a minister and senior politician of Kumar's stature.

People have supported JD(S) party in the last by-election. The party will concentrate in the first place, to strengthen its roots and grow strong. The party will organize aggressive protests against anti-people programmes of the government and also if the government fails to provide even the minimum quantum of electricity for their activities, he added.

Ashraf kallega, Sanjeev Gowda and Padma Maniyani,  JD(S) leaders,  were present at the press conference.

Who will forget the betrayal done by JD(s) to BJP. I used to admire Mr. Kumaraswamy, thinking he was a young and dynamic leader who will bring about change but alas! he had to obey Sr.Gowda's order and betrayed the BJP.BJP has gained and will gain and they are giving good governance and development.
