Mangalore: Badriya Institutions Platinum Jubilee Celebration on Jan 20, 21

Budriya Institutions, administered by Muslim Educational Association will celebrate its platinum jubilee on January 20 and 21.
 
Addressing media persons at the Press Club here on Thursday January 15, president B Ahmed Haji Muhiuddin said Prof K M Kaveriappa, vice-chancellor, Mangalore University will inaugurate the function. P Shivashankar, chief executive officer of Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat, Prof Chamegowda, deputy director, department of public education, Prof Jagjeevandas Bhandary, deputy director, department of pre-university education and Kodandaram will be the chief guests. Qazi CM Abdullah Musliyar will hoist the flag.
 
K Rahman Khan, Rajyasabha deputy chairman,will inaugurate the platinum jubilee building at the premises of Badriya First Grade College on January 21. M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate the valedictory function, while a souvenir being brought out on the occasion will be released by the district in-charge minister J Krishna Palemar, he informed.
 
Muhiuddin said that about 2,000 students are studying in Badriya institutions which provides education right  from primary up to degree classes.
 
V Ibrahim Hajee, Prof PCM Kunhi, Dr N Ismail, Saduddin M Salihi were present at the press meet.
