Kundapur, Jan 7: The two-day 19th All India Konkani Sahitya Sammelan will be held at Bhandarkar's College Stadium here on February 7 and 8.
Renowned poet and author Ramesh Veluskar has been chosen to preside over the Sahitya Sammelan.

Ravindra Kelekar, Jnanpith award winning litterateur, will inaugurate the Sammelan.
Ramesh Veluskar has won several awards and recognitions from the Konkani Kala Academy and Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Goa for his writings. He also received the Sahitya Academy award for his work 'Savulgori' in the year 1992.
Ravindra Kelekar has translated two editions of Mahabharata into Konkani. His novels, travelogues and essays have been well-received and appreciated by the readers.
These two personalities were chosen at a meeting held in Goa, under the presidentship of MP Shantaram Nayak, a release stated.
