Bangalore: CET to Continue in Karnataka

Bangalore, Jan 6: Karnataka Medical Education Minister Ramchandra Gowda reiterated that the Common Entrance Test (CET) would be conducted as usual this year.

Speaking to presspersons on Monday on the sidelines of a programme organised to lay the foundation stone for upgrading the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, he said that discussions on whether to continue CET or scrap it were on at the government level.

“Higher Education Minister Arvind Limbavali and I are discussing it with Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa. We have finished one round of discussions,” he said.
